Motion isn’t just about movement—it’s about meaning.
The world is cluttered with half-finished thoughts and good ideas left for dead. I don’t let that happen. I’ve spent nearly two decades crafting digital content that isn’t just animated, designed, or polished—but built to move, to work, to resonate. I’ve learned that the real trick isn’t making things look good (though that certainly helps); it’s making them clear, engaging, and, above all, finished. People call me when they need complexity turned into clarity, ideas turned into action, and a looming deadline turned into a job well done.
Motion designers, animators, and computer graphics artists are everywhere. But not all of them know how to strip an idea down to its essence, build it back up without any wasted time, and still make it look effortless. That’s what I do. The difference between a good idea and a great one is execution—and I don’t leave good ideas stranded.

Some lofty ideals I try to live up to, give or take.
Innovation
Doing things the usual way is fine—until you realize the usual way was invented by someone half-asleep in 1953. I prefer new ideas, especially the ones that work.
Integrity
I make things the right way, not the easy way. This has caused me stress, but at least I can sleep at night.
Creativity
Everything worth remembering started as an absurd idea. I take those ideas, shape them, and make them look like they belonged here all along.
Quality
If I wouldn’t put my name on it, it’s not finished. If I would put my name on it, I’ll probably still tweak it five more times.
Collaboration
Great things happen when people stop talking over each other and start building something together—when ideas are shared, refined, and built together.
Passion
I’d be doing this even if nobody paid me. But luckily, people do, which means I get to keep doing it without starving.
Skillsets and Expertise
Motion Director & Visual Storyteller for Emerging Technology
I bring 20 years of experience in motion design, editing, and visual effects, helping companies communicate complex ideas through motion. My background spans brand films, product launches, UI animations, branded social content, and storytelling for emerging tech and research.
As a director, I lead creative teams from concept through execution, balancing high-level vision with hands-on production, bridging creative vision with technical execution. My work is grounded in design thinking and crafted for clarity, turning abstract systems or technical ideas into meaningful visual stories. I oversee the development of motion languages, animated content, and visual systems that clarify messaging and align with brand, product, or research goals. My role is both strategic and hands-on, guiding teams of designers, animators, and editors while collaborating closely with cross-disciplinary partners. I focus on delivering work that’s not just visually refined, but purposeful, scalable, and grounded in communication.
Motion Design 2D/3D
With 20 years of professional industry experience in 2D and 3D animation, I create motion that moves visually, emotionally, and narratively. My work blends strong design fundamentals with animation craft. From clean, kinetic type design to rich, complex 3D motion, I bring a strong sense of rhythm, clarity, and visual storytelling to build sequences that engage, inform, and inspire. I bring ideas to life with precision and creative insight to create flexible, scalable motion systems that serve digital campaigns, product marketing, experiential, and branded content.
Graphic Design
Before I learned to animate things, I learned how to design them. That means I respect negative space, use grids with intention, and have firm opinions about typography. Design is the backbone of all my work, whether static or moving. Trained in visual communication from the beginning, I apply design thinking to every frame, focusing on composition, hierarchy, typography, color, and rhythm. Whether static or in motion, design is the engine behind the work. It’s how I ensure every visual decision serves a communicative function structured and aligned with the larger visual language of the brand or product. Because sometimes the difference between "good design" and "bad design" is whether someone understood it.
Video Editing
Editing is where all the ideas either come together or fall apart in a haze of unclear messaging and oddly timed music cues. I know how to build tension, resolve emotion, and cut the boring parts. I edit for structure, rhythm, and tone. If a piece doesn’t flow, it doesn’t land. I’ve cut everything from brand films, broadcast commercials, online ads, branded social content, and explainer videos to sizzle reels and internal culture reels. Occasionally, I’ve been asked to “just make it pop” and I’ve lived to tell the tale.
VFX, Compositing, and Color
While not my core specialty, I bring strong working knowledge of visual effects, compositing, and color finishing to every project. I frequently handle final polish, removing artifacts, compositing graphics into footage, color balancing, and delivering broadcast-ready assets when needed. This finishing experience allows me to support a seamless post-production pipeline and maintain visual consistency across the final output.
Video and Interactive Prototyping
I build high-fidelity motion prototypes that simulate how your UI should work, long before it actually does. These videos help teams align on motion patterns, user flows, and interaction rhythms without touching a single line of production code. It’s design theater with a purpose: to communicate intent before complexity creeps in. Whether you’re designing a sleek AI assistant, a dashboard for human-machine cooperation, or an app that makes sense of data entropy, I can help you visualize it in motion.
